BOIL YOUR WATER FOR THREE MINUTES BEFORE USING
The St Simons Island water system lost pressure on the distribution network serving Harrogate Road due to materials failure of a 6″ Transite main. Once service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing. This testing, which takes between 18 and 24 hours, should be completed the afternoon of Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at which time an all-clear message will be posted.

Road Closure Notification
In order to perform sewer lateral repairs in the area, the 100 block of Harrogate Road in Sea Palms, between Palm and Windward, will be closed to thru traffic. The road closure will begin at or about 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8 and last until no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.
