Road Closure Notification
In order to perform sewer gravity main repairs in the area, the 1700 block of Monck Street between Lee and Magnolia Streets in Brunswick will be closed to thru traffic from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

The Brunswick water system lost pressure on the system serving Whispering Oaks Apartments on Goodyear Avenue during planned upgrade of water mains in the area. After service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing. This testing, which takes between 18 and 24 hours, should be completed the afternoon of Saturday, January 25, 2020, at which time an all-clear message will be posted.

In order for a utility contractor to perform distribution main upgrades in the area, water service will be intermittent beginning at or about 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020 for the Whispering Oaks Apartments on Goodyear Avenue. Repairs are expected to take four hours. Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be issued until 24 hours following the last point of repair.
