Sections of Sea Island Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning February 4th, 2016 through no later than February 22nd, 2016. Monday, April 20th, 2015, the JWSC entered into a contract with Popco, Inc. out of Albany, Georgia for improvements to Sanitary Sewer Basin 2030 and a needed Water Main Extension in the Sea Island Road area of St. Simons Island. Road Closure Notification – Lee St in Brunswick – January 20, 2016

Attention Road Closure Notification In order to perform sewer main repairs in the area, the 2100 block of Lee St in Brunswick, between K St and L St, will be closed to thru traffic from 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.

Service Outage Notification – 1500 Block of Egmont in Brunswick – January 16, 2016

Attention Service Outage Notification In order to perform emergency repairs to the water system, water service will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the 1500 block of Egmont in Brunswick. Unless complications arise, this outage should only affect the Frank M. Scarlett Federal Building, including the U.S. Postal Service offices, which will remain open for their regular times on Saturday. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.
