Metering System Upgrade Project – Update 4

In early February 2021, the BGJWSC mobilized its meter installation contractor, M&E Construction, to install at or about 7,500 meters at various locations across Glynn County. Each of the 4 phases of this project will take 7 to 8 months to complete and will repeat again in similar batches until all 30,000 meters have been upgraded. All-Clear for Boil Water Advisory Issued for Country Walk on December 27, 2022

Effective immediately, as of 10:02 A.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, all required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory issued for the Country Walk subdivision on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, have passed. Results have been verified by our state-licensed technician within a certified laboratory environment. This notification is an ALL-CLEAR and water used for drinking will no longer need to be boiled. Precautionary Boil Water Advisory – Country Walk Subdivision – December 27, 2022

DRINKING WATER WARNING BOIL YOUR WATER FOR THREE MINUTES BEFORE USING The Brunswick water system lost pressure on the distribution network serving the Country Walk subdivision on Harry Driggers Blvd due to freezing temperatures causing watermain breaks. Service has been restored and BGJWSC lab personnel have collected water samples for testing.
