Water Service Outage on HWY 99 in Brunswick – April 27, 2015

Attention Service Outage Notification In order to perform repairs to the system, water service will be unavailable to the Gallery and Sweetwater subdivisions on Hwy 99 in Brunswick from 10:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 until 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.

Lift Station 2030 Upgrade, Force Main Improvements and Water Main Extension Contract Awarded

Monday, April 20th, the JWSC entered into a contract with Popco Inc. out of Albany Georgia for improvements to Sanitary Sewer Basin 2030 and a needed Water Main Extension. The contract was in the amount of $3,022,528.22 and the Notice To Proceed will be issued within the next 20 days. Actual construction will begin as soon as the construction submittals are reviewed and approved and materials are made available, and could be as early as 45 days.
