Water Service Outage in Glynn Haven on St. Simons Island – March 19, 2015

Water service will be unavailable in the Glynn Haven area of St. Simons Island from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. today, March 19, 2015, for the repair of a 6″ main by BGJWSC staff. This will affect customers in the vicinity of Atlantic Ave, Third Ave, Palm St, Pine, Maple St, Palmetto St, Holly St and surrounding areas of Glynn Haven. Water service is presently unavailable in the Glynn Haven area of St. Simons Island. In the process of digging, a contractor has broken a 6” main in the vicinity of Atlantic Ave, Third Ave, Palm St, Pine, Maple St, Palmetto St, Holly St and surrounding areas of Glynn Haven on St. Simons Island. BGJWSC crews are onsite determining the extent of the damage and working on restoring service.
