In observance of the national holiday celebrating the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., our offices will be closed this coming Monday, January 20 and will return on Tuesday, January 21. We will have emergency field staff available during the holiday.

Today, we welcomed to our board two new commissioners, Thomas A. Boland, Sr. and David H. Ford, both of Brunswick. They were sworn in today by Judge Debra Howes after having been chosen by Grand Jury to serve on the Joint Water & Sewer Commission for two years. Today, the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water & Sewer Commission bid farewell to Commissioner Tony Sammons, who has served the JWSC since July 2005, and Commissioner George Dupuy, who has served since January 2013. Commissioners Sammons and Chairman Perry Commissioner Dupuy and Chairman Perry
