An emergency lane closure will be necessary on Gloucester Street from Wolfe Street to Norwich Street from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm today, Friday, February 1, 2019, to enable staff to make repairs to the water main located under the street. Natural causes resulted in the failure of the connection between a 12” and 16” ductile iron main. Access to impacted addresses will be maintained but all others should take another route to avoid delays. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.

DRINKING WATER WARNING BOIL YOUR WATER FOR THREE MINUTES BEFORE USING The Brunswick water system lost pressure to residences in the Sandalwood Subdivision on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 due to scheduled maintenance needed to replace failed water isolation valves. Service has been restored, but another two days of repairs have been scheduled for January 31st and February 1st.
