Road Closure – Forest St, St. Simons Island, July 28 to August 5, 2014 – Extended

ATTENTION In order to install services to connect to the waste water system in preparation for construction in the area, traffic will be routed around the block of Neptune Rd between Beachview Dr and Forest St on St. Simons Island beginning 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 28th and ending 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 1st. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience. Update: The project has been extended and should be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5th.

New Purchasing Director Chosen

New Systems Pumping and Maintenance Superintendent Chosen

The Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water & Sewer Commission has added another key person to their management team. Kirk Young has been hired as the new System Pumping & Maintenance Division Superintendent. This position was filled prior by Ray Tarker, who retired on May 30th of this year.
