In order to perform emergency repairs to the water system servicing Fountain Lake Apartments and The Cove at Fountain Lakes water service will be interrupted until the repairs are finished.
Following the repair process on Friday, a precautionary boil water advisory will be issued once full service has been restored. This advisory will extend until 18 to 24 hours following the last point of repair, with the all-clear tentatively expected for Saturday...

In order to perform sewer service repairs in the area, the 600 block of Reynolds St in Brunswick, between Dartmouth Street and First Avenue, will be closed to thru traffic from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8th, 2018 until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10th, 2018. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

Effective immediately, as of 8:08 AM on Friday, December 21, 2018, all required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory issued for Hanover Square on St Simons Island has passed. Results have been verified by our state-licensed technician within a certified laboratory environment.
This notification is an ALL-CLEAR and water used for drinking will no longer need to be boiled.

BOIL YOUR WATER FOR THREE MINUTES BEFORE USING
The St Simons Island water system lost pressure to businesses in Hanover Square on Thursday, December 20, 2018 due to a materials failure in a 2″ PVC main. Once service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing. This testing, which will take between 18 and 24 hours, should be completed on Friday, December 21, at which time an all-clear message will be posted.
