DRINKING WATER WARNING BOIL YOUR WATER FOR THREE MINUTES BEFORE USING The St Simons Island water system lost pressure in the area serving the Island Professional Park on Demere Rd on Monday, May 6, 2019 due to materials failure in a 2″ PVC fitting. BGJWSC staff is onsite now restoring service. Once service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing.
