Water Usage Restrictions in Place for St. Simons Island, Georgia – 10/2/15 to 10/5/15
Attention
Water Usage Restrictions in Place for St. Simons Island
Due to the excessive rains and unusually high tides experienced in Glynn County over the past week, the sanitary sewer collection system on St. Simons Island and the sewage treatment facility at Dunbar Creek are under unusually high volumes. In an effort to maintain sufficient processing at the wastewater treatment facility on St. Simons Island, it is vital that residents and businesses on St. Simons Island observe water restrictions beginning 5:00 PM, Friday, October 2, 2015, through 5:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2015. Please limit shower usage and avoid any unnecessary consumption of water.
The BGJWSC thanks you in advance for your understanding and compliance.
