COMMISSIONERS’ RETREAT WORKSHOP MINUTES

Chairman Turnipseed called the workshop to order at 1:00 PM.

Chairman Turnipseed provided the invocation.

DISCUSSION

  1. System Report card
    1. Review and comment
    2. Ways to improve
  2. Commissioners visions for this year:
    1. Harvey:
      • Continue customer service improvements
      • Encourage growth and incentives for accessing systems
    2. Neal:
      • Easier access to gravity system
      • Future use for CVS building
      • Smell at Frederica/Sea Island Road
      • Permitting needs to be streamlined
    3. Stephens:
      • Customer service
      • Future Commissioner selection
    4. Cook:
      • Website revision
      • Name change
    5. Duncan:
      • Fill necessary positions
      • Accountability for goals
      • Ancillary services
    6. Turnipseed:
      • New well on North end of county
      • Timely completing projects
    7. Burroughs:
      • SPLOST projects
      • Capital Projects Plan 2021
      • Rate Resolution

There being no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 4:00 PM.
