Service Disruption Notice for Saint Simons Island – July 28, 2025

UPDATE AS OF 9:14 AM: The distribution mains have been successfully flushed, and all air has been purged from the lines. Water tank pressure is steadily increasing, which is helping to resolve reduced water pressure. As adequate water pressure was maintained, water will not need to be boiled before use.

A temporary water service disruption was reported in the Saint Simons Island service district due to air present in the distribution mains. The affected area extends approximately from Sea Island Road to Mallery Street. Crews have responded promptly and have flushed the distribution mains to remove the air. Water tank pressure continues to increase, and service is in the process of being fully restored.
