Road Closure for Repairs – 1700 Block of Ellis Street – April 17, 2021

In order to perform sewer gravity main repairs in the area, the 1700 block of Ellis Street in Brunswick, between G Street & H Street, will be closed to thru traffic. The road closure will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17 and last until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

As a function of routine maintenance funded by our operational budget, this replacement of a section of collapsing 8″ vitrified clay pipe is critical to avoid the potential for sewer service backups and sinkholes in the roadway.
