Planned Water Outage for watermain tie-ins – Sections of the Arco District in Brunswick – Thursday, November 16th, 2023
In order for BGJWSC and contract staff to complete maintenance upgrades as part of the Arco project two water main tie-ins, water service will be intermittently unavailable or in low pressure from at or about 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, for service connections in the Townsend Street area of Arco: the impacted areas are the intersection of Cochran Ave and Townsend Street and the intersection of 7th Street and Norwich Street. Adjacent streets may also be impacted in order to isolate water mains during the repairs.
Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory may be issued until 24 hours following the last point of repair. Please subscribe to receive emergency updates via text message, email, or phone call if this advisory becomes necessary.
