Bill Statement Backer Back by Popular Demand!
While upgrading to our new billing system in July of 2017, we temporarily removed the information that had been printed on the back of the monthly statement. Now that we have made the necessary changes, we will resume filling in the back with details of how to understand you bill more easily.
One change that will affect some of you is the absence of the block on the bottom of the statement for filling in credit card information. Our merchant services vendor, BB&T Bank, scans the stub on the bottom of your bill to ensure that your mailed in check is processed quickly and accurately. This area must now remain blank on the back of the stub to facilitate their processing. Please use our Citizen Access Portal available on our website or visit us at 1703 Gloucester Street to process a card payment.
