ATTENTION In order to perform repairs to the system, water service will be unavailable from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, 10/23/14, on George St in Brunswick from the 700 block to the 1200 block between Union and Albany Streets. JH Stone Construction will be performing the work. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.

Yesterday morning, some customers in the area near the Brunswick Campus of the Southeast Georgia Health System were affected by a water main break that occurred on the corner of Shrine Rd and Wildwood Dr. Service was available to the main hospital building itself, as our system does have loops and redundancies in place, but some buildings on Shrine Rd had low pressure or no water available until 4:00 p.m. Staff members from our Water Distribution Division were successful in repairing the...

Road Blockage Notification – 2300 Block of Talmadge in Brunswick, September 25-26

ATTENTION In response to a call regarding a potential sewer connection problem on Thursday, September 25, the BGJWSC has closed the 2300 block of Talmadge St between Glynn Ave (Hwy 17 SB) and Macon Ave until repairs can be made. Weather permitting, the road shall be reopened no later than 7:00 PM on Friday, September 26.
