All-Clear for Boil Water Advisory Issued for The Island Club at Retreat on St. Simons Island on Thursday, November 1, 2018
Effective immediately, as of 8:00 AM on Friday, November 2, 2018, all required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory issued for The Island Club at Retreat on November 1, 2018 has passed. Results have been verified by our state-licensed technician within a certified laboratory environment.
This notification is an ALL-CLEAR and water used for drinking will no longer need to be boiled.

The St. Simons Island water system lost pressure to residences within The Island Club at Retreat on Thursday, November 1, 2018 due to emergency repairs to a hydrant in the area. After service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing.
