Chairman Provenzano called the meeting to order.
Chairman Provenzano requested Mrs. Watson review the changes to the purchase and sale agreement between the JWSC and UCB Coastal Properties, Inc. Mrs. Watson covered various provisions including: the 120 days for closing, the purchase price, roof inspection, and that the seller will leave a portion of it’s furniture and fixtures. The offer is open for acceptance until March 19, 2014.
Commissioner Perry stated the appraisal, survey and inspection should be completed in approximately three (3) weeks.
Commissioner Perry made a motion seconded by Commissioner Boland to present the purchase and sale agreement, as amended, to UCB Coastal Properties, Inc for properties located on Gloucester Street and Lee Street for $950,000 and authorize the Chairman to sign. Motion carried 6-0-0.
Commissioners held a brief discussion on a time line for building modifications and moving.
There being no additional business to bring before the Commission, Chairman Provenzano adjourned the meeting.
